  1. Lori-so true. Enjoy your writing a lot. Your such an outstanding person. Proud of you and your thoughts. Hang in there with me.

  2. Lori….I agree with you 100%. This speaks loudly to me.
We think that if we try hard enough that everything will turn out how we have planned. We do the best we can with what we have. And sometimes life doesn’t turn out how we want it to. Or how we think it should be. It can be so cruel and unfair. But we need to trust in God and lean not on our own understanding. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” Proverbs 3;5-6.
God sees our future life and has good plans for us. “I have good plans for you, not plans to hurt you.” Jeremiah 29:11
Thanks so much for writing this, it helps with what I am going through.
I wonder if eventually everyone feels this way, (at varying degrees.)

    1. I agree. I believe the feeling is universal. Some avoid it for longer than others, but we all eventually get there. So great to hear from you. You have lived so much of this.

  3. This is a great insight, Lori. It really sheds light on how small things can cause big reactions in people who are teetering on the edge of life, often unbeknownst from outward appearances. I see this in many of our Learning Club families. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Yes, that’s a great point, Brad! So much in life can use up our margin. We all need to be offered an extra helping of grace at some time in our lives.

    1. Yes, sooner or later everyone’s tower sways. This illness has made me more aware of that and definitely more empathetic…to lots of marginless situations in the world. Love hearing from you, Leigh Ann.
